Finally got around to making my own convention banner. The title is a bit misleading…it implies I had an old convention banner. BUT. It is NEW to me (and you), so we’ll let it slide. Check it out:

I made the display stand out of pvc from the orange hardware store and vinyl material printed at the local library. I can’t claim to have designed the frame, but I followed instructions from some kind soul on the internet and I did make it with my own two hands. If you’re interested, plug “DIY PVC Convention Banner” into your browser of choice and you should find a few options. I particularly enjoy the fact that it’s customizable and inexpensive.

Hi there, Almost here.

I’m making this post as much for me as for you, dear reader. As you may have seen, I’m a guy who likes to make stuff with his hands, and make up stories to entertain you (and myself). I am not a guy who likes to make blog posts and content for social media. See the rub?

Who will hear my stories if I don’t advertise them in some fashion? What will become of my comics and sweet merch if nobody knows they exist? Why am I taking so long to get to the point?

So, I’m making this post. I need to prove to myself that promoting my wares isn’t scary and is as worthwhile an endeavor as making them in the first place. And I need to prove to YOU that I have some interesting stuff to say, both visually with my art and, you know, uh with…words and stuff.

I plan to post regularly, as well as to finish whipping this site into shape, especially the (coming soon!) SHOP.

Oh, and I will continue to make stuff and make stuff up.
